This handmade Berber rug is woven in the Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains, where age-old technique meets a warm, artistic soul. No two are ever alike, each shaped entirely by hand.
Design & Visual Details
In white and mustard tones, a checkered pattern unfolds across the surface, quietly confident and easy to live with. Worked in a soft pile, the motif gains warmth and a comfortable, cushioned feel.
Feel & Materials
Woven from 100% natural wool and hand-dyed for its colour, the fibres are soft, breathable and built to last. The dense pile feels wonderful barefoot and adds a quiet hush to the room. Finish it your way — choose hand-tied fringe on two sides, one side, or none at all.
How to Style It
This Berber rug is wonderfully versatile — use it to anchor a living room, warm a bedroom, or bring texture to a reading nook. Explore more in our Moroccan rug collection.
Craftsmanship & Authenticity
Every rug is hand-knotted by skilled Berber artisans using time-honoured methods, so small irregularities are natural — the signature of a real handmade piece. Make it yours — add it to your cart and we'll start weaving.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a genuine handmade Berber rug?
Yes — it is hand-knotted from start to finish by Berber artisans in Morocco, so slight variations are natural and part of its charm.
What is it made of?
100% natural wool, hand-dyed to achieve its white and mustard tones. The colours are rich and warm rather than synthetic-bright.
Will the colours match the photos?
We shoot in natural daylight for accuracy. As the wool is hand-dyed, tones can shift very slightly between pieces — message us for photos of your exact rug before it ships.
Is it durable enough for a living room with kids or pets?
Yes — wool is naturally tough, stain-resistant and springs back well. A light initial shed is normal and settles within a few weeks of gentle vacuuming.
How do I keep it clean?
Wool naturally resists dirt thanks to its lanolin. Vacuum gently, blot spills quickly with mild soap and water, and have it professionally cleaned once a year to keep the light tones fresh.
Can I choose the size and fringe, and how soon does it ship?
Yes — pick your size and fringe finish (two sides, one side, or none) above; each rug is made to order. Please allow 6–8 weeks for production. Order today to reserve your place in the workshop queue.
